Plastic Packaging Tax

JMJ Bulk Packaging is well placed to offer compliant and auditable FIBCs. From 1st April 2022 there will be a Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT) charged at £200 per tonne on any plastic packaging that does not contain at least 30% recycled material. The company has agreed a stringent process with its supply chain to ensure it has the right information available to support any imports that do contain 30% recycled material so that this can evidence that there is no tax to pay.
